Grease Pole 2002

Every year Queen's engineering has an event for their frosh as a part of iniation. They must climb the grease pole, which was once a goal post at U of T. I have visited this event every year I have been at U of T, except my 1st year.

My first time was purely curiosity, the second time we liberated it, the third time we observed, and this time (being my last) we climbed it. 14 of us made the trip today, and 7 of us went into the pit. It was a blast, and definately worth the 11 hour round trip. I now have a part of the tam that was at the top of the pole, which should go well into my collection of memorabilia.
