Concrete Canoe 2002

This is the third year in a row that I've been the guy who gets to paint the concrete canoe. This year our theme is Iron Chef, so we're doing the canoe to look like a fish. Tonight I did be base coat (blue) and experimented with the scales (I have this really cool paint that changes colour depending on how the light hits it). After I'm done with the colours we're putting a clear gel coat on top to protect it and give a nice smooth glossy finish. Should look pretty neat...
