This is a little whittling project that I undertook during the 14 day canoe trip I did this summer in Temagami. Hard to tell from the pictures, but the ball in the centre of the handle is free moving, but doesn't come out. I got the ball moving withing the end while I was at the top of Maple Mountian, the second heighest point in Ontario. It was carved from a single piece of ceder and given 3 coats of tung oil when I finished it.
